This blog is only about awakening, nothing more, nothing less. Anything that will contribute to the possibility of complete liberation from the dream, or from the mass hallucination of humanity, or from the mental matrix, or from the false self, or from the lie, or any other label you want to call it, is welcome here. The key words are FREEDOM and JOY. Sometimes I think this reporting about stuff just keeps the false story going and only adds to the insanity, and there's too much of that already. But something is trying to pry the lid off still, something awaits to be seen. We are all in this boat together, so here we go......have fun!

Connecting the Dots Between Covid-19 and the Not-So-Great Reset [VIDEOS]

ER Editor: This article does indeed attempt to connect the dots, but it also does so by connecting back to the Swine Flu pandemic, so-called, of 2009, in which Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg played a key role, just as he has tried to do this time around, but with heavy MSM censorship.

We remind readers of the attack Wodarg, in conjunction with former Pfizer CEO Dr. Mike Yeadon, has made on the current vaccine trials, delineating clearly what the medical risks may be of the Pfizer vaccine and others, and why they should be stopped. See Dr. Wodarg and Dr. Yeadon Request a Stop of ALL Corona Vaccination Studies, Call to SIGN THE PETITION.

JOHN SLEGERS

You may have heard of the “Great Reset” by now. Maybe you’ve learned about it from one of these articles in Time Magazine. Maybe you’ve learned about it from this silly BBC hit piece. Maybe you’ve learned about it from this op ed in Forbes. Or maybe your “crazy conspiracy theorist” uncle forwarded you one of the many videos on Youtube that mentions this topic. But what exactly is the “Great Reset”? Who is behind it? Why is there such a buzz surrounding it? And how does this relate to Covid-19? The purpose of this article is to help you answer these questions.

As I’m writing this article, it’s exactly 6 months since the “Great Reset” campaign was launched. Since 3 June 2020, the website of Charles, Prince of Wales, would contain a section titled “The Great Reset”, which contains the following statements :

Today, through HRH’s Sustainable Markets Initiative and the World Economic Forum, The Prince of Wales launched a new global initiative, The Great Reset.

For over fifty years, His Royal Highness has promoted action for a sustainable future to ensure that the natural assets can endure for future generations.

In January 2020, The Prince launched his Sustainable Markets Initiative at Davos, which calls on communities, businesses, investors and consumers to take the urgent and practical steps required to transition to more sustainable practices.

The Great Reset, which was launched during a virtual roundtable today, aims to rebuild, redesign, reinvigorate and rebalance our world. It has been designed to ensure businesses and communities build back better by putting sustainable business practices at the heart of their operations as they begin to recover from the coronavirus pandemic.

On that same dayKlaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF), published the following on the WEF website :

There are many reasons to pursue a Great Reset, but the most urgent is COVID-19. Having already led to hundreds of thousands of deaths, the pandemic represents one of the worst public-health crises in recent history. And, with casualties still mounting in many parts of the world, it is far from over.

This will have serious long-term consequences for economic growth, public debt, employment, and human wellbeing. According to the Financial Times, global government debt has already reached its highest level in peacetime. Moreover, unemployment is skyrocketing in many countries: in the US, for example, one in four workers have filed for unemployment since mid-March, with new weekly claims far above historic highs. The International Monetary Fund expects the world economy to shrink by 3% this year — a downgrade of 6.3 percentage points in just four months. (ER: All CREATED by the co-ordinated over-reactions of our governments!)

All of this will exacerbate the climate and social crises that were already underway. Some countries have already used the COVID-19 crisis as an excuse to weaken environmental protections and enforcement. And frustrations over social ills like rising inequality — US billionaires’ combined wealth has increased during the crisis — are intensifying.

[…]

The Great Reset agenda would have three main components. The first would steer the market toward fairer outcomes. To this end, governments should improve coordination (for example, in tax, regulatory, and fiscal policy), upgrade trade arrangements, and create the conditions for a “stakeholder economy.” At a time of diminishing tax bases and soaring public debt, governments have a powerful incentive to pursue such action.

Moreover, governments should implement long-overdue reforms that promote more equitable outcomes. Depending on the country, these may include changes to wealth taxes, the withdrawal of fossil-fuel subsidies, and new rules governing intellectual property, trade, and competition.

The second component of a Great Reset agenda would ensure that investments advance shared goals, such as equality and sustainability. Here, the large-scale spending programs that many governments are implementing represent a major opportunity for progress. The European Commission, for one, has unveiled plans for a €750 billion ($826 billion) recovery fund. The US, China, and Japan also have ambitious economic-stimulus plans.

Rather than using these funds, as well as investments from private entities and pension funds, to fill cracks in the old system, we should use them to create a new one that is more resilient, equitable, and sustainable in the long run. This means, for example, building “green” urban infrastructure and creating incentives for industries to improve their track record on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics.

The third and final priority of a Great Reset agenda is to harness the innovations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to support the public good, especially by addressing health and social challenges. During the COVID-19 crisis, companies, universities, and others have joined forces to develop diagnostics, therapeutics, and possible vaccines; establish testing centers; create mechanisms for tracing infections; and deliver telemedicine. Imagine what could be possible if similar concerted efforts were made in every sector.

The COVID-19 crisis is affecting every facet of people’s lives in every corner of the world. But tragedy need not be its only legacy. On the contrary, the pandemic represents a rare but narrow window of opportunity to reflect, reimagine, and reset our world to create a healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous future.

Joy is Not a Crime - Courage is Medicine

"So what if I get plugged into the Machine if this is the way it’s going?" Where do I start...

What a great location
For a raping station!

Pre-equipped with streaming!
Never mind the screaming!

Very neatly labelled.
All AI-enabled.
Raping cells divided,
Masks and gloves provided.

Citizens are dizzy.
Marketers are busy.
What a sweet location
For a raping station!

I’d like to start with a philosophical outburst that is half analysis and half art. It is an expression of my heart’s spiritual logic wrapped in a scream of longing for something real.P

There is this almost identical exchange that I’ve been having with many of my friends—repeatedly—in the context of the current situation.

When we get to the democracy- and science-defying pandemic measures, the measures that are so eerily aligned with the world’s most powerful people’s preexisting techno-totalitarian blueprints for transforming our society that I find it impossible to believe that they are truly a reaction, I go:

“But facts… and our existential responsibility… and individual aliveness… real joy… authentic inner freedom… a civilizational crossroads… all hands on deck…”

And they go:

“But inevitable trajectories… and technology… and comfort… and so what if I get plugged into the machine if this is the way it’s going… the dangers are probably exaggerated and I’ll be fine… in any case no time to think about it… and why would I think too much about anything I cannot change?”

Then my mind starts shooting up internal bits of language in a million directions, trying to find good words to describe the 360-degree picture that I have in my head so perfectly and clearly, the picture that connects all the dots and explains everything logically—but that requires the recipient’s sensory foundation to be primed for grasping intrinsic depth, and thus I really need to find the best words to even try…

So let me try.

First, you know, it’s true. If you are looking at something that you absolutely cannot change and cannot even give it a little push in the right direction in hopes of making a difference now or in the future, there is no point in murdering your soul over it. In your heart, you know what’s right for you—and if you don’t, you gotta try and listen harder.

The question is though, who changes trends? Isn’t the entire history of mankind merely a chemical reaction that starts in our hearts and minds (“desires and intentions”), and as the song of each human heart gets mixed up with all the songs that are coming from all the hearts of all other human beings, it all boils in a pot together, and we end up with various opinions and events, depending on the mix? Isn’t this how it works?

So who is to say that when one person starts singing louder, it doesn’t impact the mix in the pot? Isn’t this exactly how “super predators” win, by screaming their song in everybody’s ears so loudly that the ears bleed, the hearts shut down, and the bodies make themselves available to predation? So if you, a hero of your kind, start singing a song of love and joy a little louder, who is to say that it will have no impact on global trends, now or in the future? Who? And is that person who says that you have no impact really your friend? Only you can know the mission of your life, and what it is that you need to do in order to—when your time is up—die with inner peace and no regrets, knowing that you did your best. Only you can know your heart’s most important song, and no two people are the same. But I reassure you, no matter what your mission is, you matter.

Now, comfort. Like anything, comfort works in balance with meaning and with courage. When comfort gets in a human being’s way of aspiring for truth and growing soul, life waits and waits for action and then removes the comfort. Rich people get sick, academics lose careers, movie stars spend months in rehabs chasing joy and meaning. Comfort is amazing but it’s only good in balance with joy.

And the buzzy sound of hypnosis that blocks our hearts, steals the existential depth from human life, and turns us into confident—albeit sometimes desperate—zombies preoccupied with the narcotic of the mechanical clock? It’s there, like a never-ending strip of chewing gum, like a bad relationship that provides a plot and occupies the mind with a draining but secure familiar routine.

It’s there all the time, and it’s on us to cut through the toxic, all-preoccupying noise and be alive. Alive, alive, alive. Alive uniquely. Alive in beauty, freedom, love, and touch. Alive. The way we were intended to walk this Earth. Not sexless slaves who choose to sacrifice their will for joy to accommodate the "trends” but spiritually strong human beings whose lives are meaningful. We have a chance of being remembered by the children not as blind and tragic victims of the circumstance—but as inspiring role models, the people who didn’t accept the servitude and who maybe saved the world.

You are not fuel for the machine. You are not a robot.

Sing your song.

Vandana Shiva - Bill Gates' Global Agenda and How We Can Resist His War on Life

Written By:
Dr. Vandana Shiva

Originally published www.independentsciencenews.org

In March 2015, Bill Gates showed an image of the coronavirus during a TED Talk and told the audience that it was what the greatest catastrophe of our time would look like. The real threat to life, he said, is 'not missiles, but microbes.' When the coronavirus pandemic swept over the earth like a tsunami five years later, he revived the war language, describing the pandemic as 'a world war'.

'The coronavirus pandemic pits all of humanity against the virus,' he said.

In fact, the pandemic is not a war. The pandemic is a consequence of war. A war against life. The mechanical mind connected to the money machine of extraction has created the illusion of humans as separate from nature, and nature as dead, inert raw material to be exploited. But, in fact, we are part of the biome. And we are part of the virome. The biome and the virome are us. When we wage war on the biodiversity of our forests, our farms, and in our guts, we wage war on ourselves.

The health emergency of the coronavirus is inseparable from the health emergency of extinction, the health emergency of biodiversity loss, and the health emergency of the climate crisis. All of these emergencies are rooted in a mechanistic, militaristic, anthropocentric worldview that considers humans separate from--and superior to--other beings. Beings we can own, manipulate, and control. All of these emergencies are rooted in an economic model based on the illusion of limitless growth and limitless greed, which violate planetary boundaries, and destroy the integrity of ecosystems and individual species.

New diseases arise because a globalized, industrialized, inefficient agriculture invades habitats, destroys ecosystems, and manipulates animals, plants, and other organisms with no respect for their integrity or their health. We are linked worldwide through the spread of diseases like the coronavirus because we have invaded the homes of other species, manipulated plants and animals for commercial profits and greed, and cultivated monocultures. As we clear-cut forests, as we turn farms into industrial monocultures that produce toxic, nutritionally empty commodities, as our diets become degraded through industrial processing with synthetic chemicals and genetic engineering, and as we perpetuate the illusion that earth and life are raw materials to be exploited for profits, we are indeed connecting. But instead of connecting on a continuum of health by protecting biodiversity, integrity, and self-organization of all living beings, including humans, we are connected through disease.

According to the International Labour Organization, '1.6 billion informal economy workers (representing the most vulnerable in the labour market), out of a worldwide total of two billion and a global workforce of 3.3 billion, have suffered massive damage to their capacity to earn a living. This is due to lockdown measures and/or because they work in the hardest-hit sectors.' According to the World Food Programme, a quarter of a billion additional people will be pushed to hunger and 300,000 could die every day. These, too, are pandemics that are killing people. Killing cannot be a prescription for saving lives.

Health is about life and living systems. There is no 'life' in the paradigm of health that Bill Gates and his ilk are promoting and imposing on the entire world. Gates has created global alliances to impose top-down analysis and prescriptions for health problems. He gives money to define the problems, and then he uses his influence and money to impose the solutions. And in the process, he gets richer. His 'funding' results in an erasure of democracy and biodiversity, of nature and culture. His 'philanthropy' is not just philanthrocapitalism. It is philanthroimperialism.

The coronavirus pandemic and lockdown have revealed even more clearly how we are being reduced to objects to be controlled, with our bodies and minds as the new colonies to be invaded. Empires create colonies, colonies enclose the commons of the indigenous living communities and turn them into sources of raw material to be extracted for profits. This linear, extractive logic is unable to see the intimate relations that sustain life in the natural world. It is blind to diversity, cycles of renewal, values of giving and sharing, and the power and potential of self-organising and mutuality. It is blind to the waste it creates and to the violence it unleashes. The extended coronavirus lockdown has been a lab experiment for a future without humanity.

On March 26, 2020, at a peak of the coronavirus pandemic and in the midst of the lockdown, Microsoft was granted a patent by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Patent WO 060606 declares that 'Human Body Activity associated with a task provided to a user may be used in a mining process of a cryptocurrency system….'

The 'body activity' that Microsoft wants to mine includes radiation emitted from the human body, brain activities, body fluid flow, blood flow, organ activity, body movement such as eye movement, facial movement, and muscle movement, as well as any other activities that can be sensed and represented by images, waves, signals, texts, numbers, degrees, or any other information or data.

The patent is an intellectual property claim over our bodies and minds. In colonialism, colonisers assign themselves the right to take the land and resources of indigenous people, extinguish their cultures and sovereignty, and in extreme cases exterminate them. Patent WO 060606 is a declaration by Microsoft that our bodies and minds are its new colonies. We are mines of 'raw material'--the data extracted from our bodies. Rather than sovereign, spiritual, conscious, intelligent beings making decisions and choices with wisdom and ethical values about the impacts of our actions on the natural and social world of which we are a part, and to which we are inextricably related, we are 'users.' A 'user' is a consumer without choice in the digital empire.

QUESTIONS OF OUR TIME – CAN WE NOW CONTINUE OUR HUMAN EVOLUTION?

Kingsley L. DennisContributor

The earth is not going through a moral crisis, but through an “evolutionary crisis.” We are not moving toward a better world…we are in the middle of a MUTATION toward a radically different world…Unknown to ourselves, we are in search of the new being; we are right in the midst of a human revolution.’ ~Satprem

We have arrived at an important time in our collective human journey: humanity now has to face the fact that it is living within a dishonest civilization. The tentacles of our growth and progress have reached too far into the sullied bellies of power and greed. People are being tricked into falling for the superficial, the glamourous, whilst slipping into a potential future of the human-less. Our present landscape is morphing into a place where, for the first time, the human being, and mind, is finding itself out-of-place within its own territory. The very identity of our humanity is now in flux and we are in need of re-defining who we are and where we are going.

It is no exaggeration to say that humanity is entering a period of existential crisis that has perhaps not been last witnessed since the Middle Ages. Only this time, we don’t have our religious institutions to offer us salvation. The responsibility is upon our shoulders of finding ‘salvation’ through becoming fully human in the face of dehumanizing forces. We have to resist the huge, encroaching mechanical organizing forces of life. These are detrimental to the vital human force and its life instincts. We are being crippled by those forces that lie external to us, and onto which we have been accustomed (or conditioned) to place our dependence and trust.

We are right in the middle of a time of intense ‘enforced socialization,’ or what Edward Snowden recently referred to as an ‘architecture of oppression.’ For some, the only response to this overwhelming ‘architecture of oppression’ will be to find their comfort zones – such as sitting in their chairs at home in supplication to the digital distractions of online entertainment. This oppressing architecture will come less with batons and clubs and more with the enticements of a ‘Brave New World’ that Aldous Huxley outlined.

Satisfactions, and the access to such satisfactions, will form part of the disciplinary structures that pretend to be democratic. A democratic totalitarianism is the deceitful dishonesty that has crept, or slithered, into our so-called regimes of modernity. What we have now is not only dishonest but dysfunctional towards a fully realized human future.

Or perhaps that is the point? That what is trying to emerge at this time is not wanting to support the development of a fully human future but rather to form the architecture of a dehumanized, technologized future? Maybe humanity has now arrived at an important juncture on its journey that will decide which path forward it will take. That is, humanity has arrived at an evolutionary juncture that marks a passing of one era and a decision-point into what type of future era awaits. And it is here that we are in distress. It is this point that marks our existential crisis.

The Indian sage Sri Aurobindo said, in 1910:

‘The end of a stage of evolution is usually marked by a powerful recrudescence of all that has to go out of the evolution.’

The term ‘recrudescence’ is not popularly used yet refers to the recurrence of an undesirable condition. We can also consider it as a resurgence in order to expel, similar to popping a returned boil to release the pus. Perhaps what we are witnessing around the world is an expulsion of the ‘diseases of humanity’ that have crept into the human body.

There is a correspondence here to that of viruses. Viruses are microscopic parasites that only thrive when within a host body. Many scientists consider viruses to be non-living parasites or, at the most, to be ‘at the edge of life.’ Others refer to viruses as self-replicators. These parasites then exist in the ‘twilight zone’ between life and non-life where they replicate toxic material until the host body produces an immunity.

As an analogy, the corrupt and deceitful elements of humanity are replicating through the host global body until our collective consciousness can find and/or reach a state of immunity. This is the period of ‘recrudescence’ that Aurobindo states as marking the end of one stage of human evolutionary growth and its next. We may wonder here if the current state of global toxicity is this period of expulsion – the ‘popping the boil’ – before a new state of health can be regained? And through this, humanity can both individually and collectively find a new story for itself – a new and revised sense of purpose. Similarly, the French thinker Satprem (a follower of Aurobindo’s thinking) claimed that – ‘When a species fails to find its own sense, it dies or self-destructs.’ This may define our current dilemma – we are trying to find our sense within this toxicity and fluidity. And the stakes are high. We are in need of coming to our human good senses.

This period of fluidity (what I have previously referred to as the ‘bardo times’) represents a time of distortion, uncertainty and, ultimately, a disconnection with the past. It is a fluidity where concepts of truth are muddled, and the ‘true-false’ or the ‘false-true’ invades our consciousnesses in order to confuse and disorientate. We are coming close to a peak point where we swim in a hallucinatory or hypnotic state of false reality – a form of pseudo-reality. And we remain in this liquid, fluid unreal time until the immunity of human consciousness dispels these zombie self-replicating parasites ‘at the edge of life.’ That is, until we can heal our ‘wounded consciousness.’

We are perhaps walking dazed in the blurry last rays of twilight that divides a dying age from one yet to be born. We are unsure of our footing, and so we reach out for the shards of security that the dying age throws at us. Yet these are not a lifeline for the future; they are the threads that cling to the dying age and which eventually will only lead us into the underworld as Orpheus journeyed into Hades. We need to move into the light and, unlike Orpheus, we should not look back before reaching the light, lest we lose the object of our love.

Going forward and developing our humanity is not about ‘adding on’ new things or appendages – or becoming a bodily hybrid; rather, it is about falling away from such external appendages and finding our inner self-sufficiency. Rather than looking outside of us – staring up at the stars and waiting for extraterrestrial help to arrive – we should be seeking for the powerful secret kept within the intra-terrestrial. The evolutionary secret is kept – has always been kept – within us. And yet our external systems, those ‘architectures of oppression,’ are depriving us of our own means to push forward. Our social institutions are attempting – by distraction or design – to keep us from discovering our own evolutionary secret.

The human being – a bodily-physical as well as mental-emotional being – is in danger of becoming buried beneath not climate changes but a technical-medical age of bio-security that deprives the human being of its own choices and its own means for development. We are close to becoming self-doubtful of our own knowing. Once our channels of self-knowing are invaded and corrupted by a deluge of deliberate fakery, trickery, and pseudo-truths, we become suffocated by the compelling force of a new story that washes over us. If we too readily succumb to the script of this corrupted (imposed?) social story, we shall soon forget the threads that connect us to a soulful human life. We must take this time as a trigger to compel us to find the human evolutionary key that lies within.

A SIMPLER WAY

A Simpler Way

A Simpler Way: Crisis as Opportunity is a feature-length documentary that follows a community in Australia who came together to explore and demonstrate a simpler way to live in response to global crises. Throughout the year the group build tiny houses, plant veggie gardens, practice simple living, and discover the challenges of living in a community.

The film documents the community’s learning process as well as exploring the global issues we’re facing, through interviews with some of today’s most interesting speakers on the subjects, including permaculture co-originator David Holmgren, filmmaker and activist Helena Norberg-Hodge, climate change activist David Spratt and many more.

“STOP the Manipulation, Masks, Lies, Fear…”- international collective of healthcare professionals

COVIDINFOS.NET

A collective of healthcare professionals today (ER: August 28) launched an “International Alert Message” addressed to governments and citizens around the world.

Among the signatories are physicians from many countries and several medical professors, including microbiologist Martin Haditsh.
The collective discusses the real danger of the virus, the manipulation of numbers, the role of the WHO, the consequences of confinement or wearing masks, and calls on governments to “lift all restrictions and obligations on citizens”. You can download the full letter here in French, or here in English.

Healthcare professionals who wish to do so are invited to join the “United Health Professionals” collective at:

join.unitedhealthprofessionals@gmail.com.

****
We, healthcare professionals, across several countries in the world:
1. We say: STOP to all the crazy and disproportionate measures that have been taken since the beginning to fight SARS-CoV-2 (containment, blocking the economy and education, social distancing, masks for all, etc.) because they are totally unjustified, they are not based on any scientific evidence and they violate the basic principles of evidence-based medicine. On the other hand, of course, we support reasonable measures such as recommendations for hand washing, sneezing or coughing into one’s elbow, use of a single-use handkerchief, etc.
This is not the first time that mankind has faced a new virus: it was H2N2 in 1957, H3N2 in 1968, SARS-CoV in 2003, H5N1 in 2004, H1N1 in 2009, MERS-CoV in 2012 and faces the seasonal flu virus every year. However, none of the measures taken for SARS-CoV-2 have been taken for these viruses.

We are told :

“But, SARS-CoV-2 is highly contagious” and we say: This is FALSE, a statement that is rejected by internationally renowned experts. A simple comparison with other viruses shows that the contagiousness of SARS-CoV-2 is moderate. Diseases such as measles can be described as highly contagious. For example, a person infected with measles can infect up to 20 people, whereas a person infected with this coronavirus only infects 2 or 3, which is 10 times less than measles.

– “But, it’s a new virus” and we reply: H1N1 and the other viruses that were mentioned were also new viruses. Yet: we did not confine countries, we did not block the world economy, we did not paralyze the education system, we did not make social distancing and we did not tell healthy people to wear masks. Moreover, some experts say that it is possible that this virus was already circulating before, but that we did not realize it.
– “But, we don’t have a vaccine” and we answer: at the beginning of H1N1 we didn’t have a vaccine either, like in the time of SARS-CoV. Yet: we didn’t confine countries, we didn’t block the world economy, we didn’t paralyze the education system, we didn’t make social distancing and we didn’t tell healthy people to wear masks.
– But, this virus is much more deadly” and we answer: FALSE, because just compared to the flu and if we take into account the period between November 1 and March 31, there have been worldwide -when these measures were taken: 860,000 cases and 40,000 deaths, while the flu in the same period of 5 months infects, on average, 420 million people and kills 270,000. Moreover, the case-fatality rate announced by the WHO (3.4%) was largely overestimated and was rejected from the outset by eminent experts in epidemiology. However, even taking this case-fatality rate, we can see that this coronavirus is three times less lethal than the 2003 rate (10%) and 10 times less lethal than the 2012 rate (35%).
– “But, COVID-19 is a serious disease” and we say, “That’s not true. The SARS-CoV-2 is a benign virus for the general population because it gives 85% of benign forms, 99% of infected subjects recover, it is not a danger for pregnant women and children (unlike influenza), it spreads less rapidly than influenza and 90% of those who die are elderly (who must, of course, be protected like other populations at risk). This is why experts have called the claim that it is a serious disease “delusional” and stated, on August 19th, that “it is no worse than the flu”.
– “But, there are asymptomatic people” and we answer: in the flu too, 77% of infected people are asymptomatic and they can also transmit the virus. Yet: healthy people are not told to wear masks every year and there is no social distancing despite the fact that the flu infects 1 billion people and kills 650,000.
– “But, this virus causes saturation of hospitals” and we answer: It’s FALSE. The saturation only concerns a few hospitals but people are made to believe that the whole hospital system is saturated or that saturation is imminent, whereas there are thousands of hospitals in some countries. Is it reasonable and true to attribute, for example, to 1,000 or 2,000 hospitals a situation that concerns only 4 or 5 hospitals? It is also not surprising that some hospitals are saturated because they were epidemic outbreaks (such as Lombardy in Italy or New York in the USA). It should not be forgotten that hospitals in many countries have been overwhelmed (including intensive care units) during previous flu epidemics and that at that time there was even talk of : “tsunami” of patients in hospitals, “saturated hospitals”, tents erected outside hospitals, “war zones”, “collapsed hospitals” and a “state of emergency”.
